'Glee' co-creator releases never-before-scene Chris Colfer, Darren Criss footage

This promotional image was released for last season's Christmas episode of "Glee," but the scene disappeared, until now.

Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy today via Twitter released the infamous “Box” scene, rumored to have been cut from last season’s “Extraordinary Merry Christmas” episode as part of a long-running homophobic attack by FOX.

“Gleeks are the best fans in the world. Because you asked for it… here is the long lost Klaine Box Scene,” Murphy tweeted.

Promotional images released before the episode aired show character Kurt Hummel, portrayed by Chris Colfer, receiving a ring box from on-screen boyfriend Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss).

FOX claimed the scene was cut for length, butwhen two fans organized an army of “Glee”-fanatic donors to help purchase the episode script in a charity auction, the scene’s content made fans question the true motives behind the missing romantic moment for the show’s gay characters.
